ECCO Community

To better foster collaboration and communication, the Global ECCO community is designed to create various mechanisms and outlets for RDFP alumni - alongside the RDFP academic community and wider counter-terrorism community - to continue collaboration, education, networking and discussion. Global ECCO enables communication between members who may otherwise be isolated physically, and allows multiple community members to interact, facilitating collaboration and continuing education on critical security issues. It also helps to maintain a network of skilled operators with a wealth of expertise to share and to draw on.

The Combating Threats Exchange (CTX) is a quarterly peer-reviewed online journal that publishes firsthand accounts and analysis written by special operations personnel, as well as discussions of policy, trends, and operations written by government officials, researchers, CT professionals, and investigative journalists on five continents. The mission of CTX is to foster camaraderie within the CT community by giving its members a forum in which to share their knowledge, experience, and stories with peers from around the world.

They are computer adjudicated and available online from the website. Most of the games revolve around choosing actions or policies and dealing with consequences of those actions, all while the player's opponent is doing the same.
